Getting there...
Another week, another few setbacks. After being out of the loop with this fic so far, it's amazing just how many inconsistencies I'm finding in my writing and how much I've forgotten in the three years since my last published chapter. That, and adding everything into my little project here coherently is still taking longer than I had anticipated, thanks to classes, take-home tests, research, and having a social life.
So what's the best course of action to take? Well, for starters, I'm not planning on addressing the inconsistencies...at least not yet. Those chapters have been written, and they can remain as such until I have a lot more time. For now, I'll simply focus on actually writing the next few chapters and getting everything prepared properly.
As for the next set of chapters, I've decided that publishing a few chapters simultaneously might be the best way of doing things at the moment, at least to tie up this temple arc cleanly. I don't know how many chapters that will take in the end, but it shouldn't be that many. In any case, I should hopefully have something ready within the next few weeks, unless something major prevents me from doing so.
In the meantime, perhaps it might behoove me to see if I can even remember my old Fanfiction.net account settings...

I can understand on the inconsistencies. I wrote a 50-some chapter epic fanfic, got writer's block right before the final arc, and left it alone for two and a half years. When I finally got back to it, it was amazing there were so many inconsistencies that I never noticed.
One chapter or a few simultaneous chapters is good either way, I look forward to seeing what you post! I know my sister has been reading the fic since about 2004, and she got me into it probably early 2009. Cannot wait to see what happens next. :) Good luck on both writing and life, man.
